The crazy proposed new PA Gun law has made front page news in todays Sun-Gazette. Frank Tripoli owner of "Tripoli's Triggers" is pictured with the article. Here's the online copy in case you don't get the paper.

Good to see that it's getting noticed. Remember to e-mail, write, or call your Rep and tell them that you are against the proposed bill. Glad to see Cappelli coming out against it.
The nut cases in Phili and Pitt are at it again!
House bill 760...The Firearms Registration Act
It would require a registration certificate for each gun at a cost of $10.00 per year, plus background checks and fingerprints. The entire procedure would be required annually for each gun you own!!! Write, Call, E-Mail you State Rep and Senator and tell them to Vote no!!!

Great video of Todd Jarrett discussing proper hand gun grip

Wow! I can't believe it...I won the first round tonight with a perfect 5 of 5 in 18.1 seconds! That felt good. Really hard to duplicate though as I was 2 of 5 in the next 2 rounds. I couldn't stop laughing during the second round due to the ribbing I was taking and on the third I just rushed myself. It was a lot of fun though and I can't wait till Thursday for the next one! I took some photos, but not too many turned out do to the safety glass. I'll put them up in the gallery. I have some video too I'll have to up load.

The 4th pin shoot is tonight from 6:00 to 8:? I'm going back to the 9mm after last weeks performance with the .45. I managed 3 of 5 with the 9 and only got 1 or 5 with the 45. Instead of 2 hour long heats it looks like there will be 4 - 1/2 hour heats. More chances to win! I'm gonna take my camera along tonight and see if I can get some good pictures of the shoot. It's a good time and a lot of fun!
As you may or may not have noticed. There is a new category devoted to Firearms and Shooting. I'm gonna start off this new section with an artice on gripping your handgun.

Last night I switched my grip during the league shooting session and saw my score go up 14 points! I found it to be a bit strange at first, but after about 10 shots it seemed natural and very helpful. I will stick with this and see if it continues to work for me. There is also an excellent article in this months "Shooting Times" magazine regarding this. I'm using the "straight-thumbs" method talked about in both articles. I'm also shooting an autoloader so this may not work for revolver shooters. I'll report more feedback as the season progresses. I'm excited to see if this helps during the Bowling Pin shoot Saturday night.
