Fender's launching a signature model David Gilmour Stratocaster guitar. The guitar, called the "Black Strat", will be available from September 22 and is based on the star's iconic instrument that helped create his band Pink Floyd's revolutionary sound. David Gilmour said: "I told Fender that it was just an ordinary Strat that I bought, but I must say they’ve done a great job of recreating it." The release of the guitar will coincide with the release of Gilmour's 3CD live album "Live In Gdansk", recorded on his 2007 solo world tour.

Monday will mark the 1 year anniversary of Pilot Jim LeRoy's tragic crash that took his life way too soon. Jim was one of the best pilots I've ever seen and was a very nice guy. I had the pleasure of meeting Jim with my sons at Lycoming Day in the Fall of 2006. Jim talked to the boys and I after he performed. I can't believe its been a year already.

Hell Boy 2 was a great follow up to the fantastic and underrated Hell Boy and now Batman is back this weekend! I can't wait to go to the movies Saturday.
